Mother Earth

— Dwight Kurt Schrute

❦

The water runs, the Sun will glint,
This is our environment.

The Hay King steps upon the ground,
He wields a giant man-sword ’round.

He penetrates Mother Earth once, twice,
Again and again and again and again, for all he’s worth,
Pounding into her soft warm dirt.

Her lips quivering,
Mounds shaking in ecstasy
and sudden relief.

MORE WISDOM FROM DWIGHT K. SCHRUTE

Assistant Regional Manager • Beet Farmer • Philosopher

“Before I do anything, I ask myself, ‘Would an idiot do that?’
And if the answer is yes, I do not do that thing.”

— ❖ —

“IDENTITY THEFT IS NOT A JOKE, JIM!
MILLIONS OF FAMILIES SUFFER EVERY YEAR!”

— ❖ —

“Through concentration, I can raise and lower
my cholesterol at will.”

Why would you want to raise your cholesterol?
“So I can lower it.”

— ❖ —

“In the wild, there is no health care.
In the wild, health care is,
‘Ow, I hurt my leg. I can’t run.
A lion eats me and I’m dead.’”

— ❖ —

“DON’T BE AN IDIOT.”
Changed my life.

And, according to Jim Halpert’s remarkably accurate interpretation of Dwight:

BEARS.
BEETS.
BATTLESTAR GALACTICA.
